Dear All,

Since im migrated my domotic system to HS3 im looking for a solution to interact with my Visonic Powermax system again. At this moment im thinking of installing HS2 on the same machine incombination with Jon00 HSgateway, this works and is tested but far from ideal.

In the past few days I had some contact with Rien du Pre, regarding my toon script and his harmony plugin. I asked Rien if he is interested in creating an Visonic Powermax plugin. Rien is willing to have a look at it, but there are some hurdles to take.


- Who will be interested in this plugin? (I am )
- are you willing to pay for it (I will)
- Rien does not have a powermax, maybe we can donate this or someone have an old powermax spare?


- @ Rene, are u willingly to share the source of your great HS2 Visonic Powermax plugin with Rien?

I'm willing to pay. I can also donate a visonic motion detector. My full alarm is in use. But I have a spare motion detector.

for my understanding the protocol of those systems are the same.

Is there someone with a spare Visonic alarm available, for testing purposes?

I dont think so. I haven't seen any mention of this type of the alarm. Only the powermax version.

What kind of Powermax components do you need?

No as phaeton said dont think its usable. We need a powermax pro plus motion and a doorsensor at least. Maybe herbus can help?

I think to test a minimum viable product you need:

Visonic Powermax Main unit
2 Pirs
2 Visonic door detector

With this you'll cover the basics. Which will help the largest group of people.

Is there a chance that we can use a Powermax Pro unit in combination with HS3? is someone working on a new Plug-In or rebuild the
