Support Intergas HReco

Hello,

The Opentherm Gateway looks very promising for connecting my Vera Lite to my new boiler, which will probably be a Intergas Kombi Kompact HReco 30. The tclcode boiler matrix however shows an x for the HReco for MsgID 14, which is mandatory according to the first line on the same page ( http://otgw.tclcode.com/matrix.cgi#boilers ).

This this mean that the Openterm Gateway will not work with the HReco?

Or can I configure the value for MsgID 14 (Maximum relative modulation level setting) manually? And with what value?

Did anybody get the Intergas HReco to work with the OTGW yet?

I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Nico

Where the page mentions mandatory support, it refers to the opentherm specifications. The gateway itself doesn't need the boiler to support MsgID 14, but thermostats that try to control the boiler via the modulation level rather than the control setpoint will have trouble.

Okay, that's good News (I think?)
So connecting the OTGW should not be a problem.

The boiler and the thermostat we be installed by the energy company, so I suppose it's their responsibility that they will work together correctly.
I will ask for an opentherm thermostat (will probably be Honeywell) and expect them to install a combination that works.

Thanks!
