Hello
I am using a rfxcom LAN transceiver (receiver and tranmitter) with a HE202 dim switch.
I am however having problems with a Homeasy dim plug (HE-202) and the latest version of Domotiga.
I know the device and the rfxcom are talking fine, because I can use the rfxmitter.executable to configure the device in the AC tab, and control it on/off from there.
However, my problem in domotiga is that I don't know what value to give to the HE module; For example, if the set the device ID in rfxmitter.exe as 2031402 Unit 1 (and learning mode on the HE device) , specifying this value (2031402 or 20314021) in the DevUnit field of the HE device in Domotiga, I get the following error message: Invalid HEEU address '20314021' given!
How do I convert the device ID (such as 2031402) to a value that Domotiga can use?
Debug logs: on the domotiga (three different values attempted as you can see):
2011/11/20 12:09:57 [RFXComRX] Variable Mode => F02C
2011/11/20 12:09:57 Initialized xmitter for Handshake usage with => F033F033
2011/11/20 12:09:57 [RFXComTX] ACK=>33
2011/11/20 12:09:57 Version request to xmitter => F030F030
2011/11/20 12:09:57 xmitter has Firmware Version: 44
2011/11/20 12:10:57 [RFXComTX] Invalid HEEU address '0x00102031' given!
2011/11/20 12:17:56 [RFXComTX] Invalid HEEU address '22004080D000' given!
2011/11/20 12:19:21 [RFXComTX] Invalid HEEU address '22004080D0' given!
Thanks for your help!

Hi,
I have been strugling with the HE devices as well. here you might find something helping you get this working:domoticaforum.eu/viewtopic.php?f=38& ... =15#p50188 . I have some of these devices as wel and did not get the dimmer part working very well.

Re: RFXcom and HE202 dim switch
Thanks mate
It looks like you were lucky by specifying Identification X10 Addr. B3, but I am pretty sure there is a way to specifying the correct HEX somewhere...
Tried with setting up the device as a AC X10 with B3, still no luck ;(
Surely there must be a way of finding out the righ hex value to put in as a HE device. (UK)

Re: RFXcom and HE202 dim switch
Will investigate and fix it, too bad rfxmitter.exe doesn´t show the byte anymore in its log, would be easier to see what you guys do...

Re: RFXcom and HE202 dim switch
Status update.
I have the AC protocol address coding part fixed on my dev box so now we are able to use the same address values as in RFXtransmitter.
Also on/off is ok, just have to fix preset dimming.. and then I publish it.

Re: RFXcom and HE202 dim switch
Please try 0.1.202 version. Look at new address format example in device editor.
