RFXtrx433 and NEXA PB-3

Hi,

I have an RFXtrx433 which I try to use with the NEXA PB-3. It seems like the RFXtrx433 do not recognize what the transmitter sends. Since the NEXA PB-3 can store three codes, I do can use the NEXA remote and the RFXtrx433 switching it of and off, that’s fine, but if the RFXtrx433 would recognize what code (on or off) the remote sends, I could do other things as well. Shouldn’t that be the case?

Which device type do you use to control the NEXA PB-3?
is the remote compatible with the AC code?

Sorry for late reply. AC works. (ANSLUT, works too, but not HE EU)

Use the latest firmware,
enable only the HE EU protocol and check if HE EU is received.

Some protocols cannot be received when another is enabled.

I flashed it with with FW 42. Disabled everything except HE EU. RFXmngr 7.0.0.8 does not understand the codes sent from remote controller PBT-707 (included in the package PB-3).
Setting the receiver in programming mode, I can program it to receive AC or ANSLUT, but not HE EU.

it is normal. An AC remote cannot be received in HE EU mode.

So PBT-707 does not work... Which NEXA remote do work?

I suppose the PB-3 remote does not transmit AC codes.
This remote should be received but needs the RFXtrx433 hardware version 1.0 http://www.nexa.se/LYCT-705-Vit.htm
If you have a version 0.0 you can request RFXCOM for the procedure to exchange the RFXtrx.

BTW: Sartano remotes are not supported for receive! See the RFXtrx User Guide chapter 2.1 which devices are supported for receive and transmit.
