Front door Sensor

Post by s8utt »

Lo. You have a sensor on your front door and on your letterbox. What is the installation like, what sensor are you using to monitor the letterbox, mine has two flaps, one on the external skin of the door and one on the internal. I find that mostly the internal one isn't moved that much if its only slim mail. Whereas the external one gets moved by the persons hand opening it. However there is not a lot of room to mount much ?

Front door Sensor

An electric contact would be handy in here, no matter how much you open it, once the electric contact (on the inside) is moved, then you have your trigger. That would be one way.
