Re: ELV MAX! protocol description
I looked at this topic a year ago but then discovered MAX!Buddy and have been using that for a year now. However there are few English posts on the forum and most of my posts are unanswered. I am still looking for a way to extract temperatures from the valves - perhaps I could do it with a Buddy scr...

Does the MAX! system work?
Can anyone explain what's going on here: Room 1 - Target 17C, actual temperature reported by valve 21.7C, Valve still open 28% Room 2 - Target 17C, Actual 20.7C, Valve 25% Shouldn't the valves be closed if the rooms are 3C or 4C over temperature? Thanks Clive PS The current actual temperature was re...

Re: ELV MAX! protocol description
One more thing: From looking more closely at this protocol spec, it seems you are unable to tell when a thermostat is switched on or off at a given time? I was under the impression that the cube would send out unsolicited updates when the valve position of a thermostat changed, but it seems that do...

Re: ELV MAX! protocol description
Is there a definite opinion on where the temperature of the valve is stored in the L response to the Cube?

Re: Problems with ELV MAX! protocol connection
Thanks but I found, buried in another post, that the port is no longer 80 but 62910 - works a treat now.Digit wrote:- ELV Max software still running? Kill it.
- Reboot done by power cycling the Cube? Wait half an hour or so and try again.

Re: ELV MAX! Protocol-Reader in PHP
Hi Mega
Thanks for your contributions.
I have only just got my MAX! stuff, found this thread yesterday and downloaded your code, so am a real beginner. But what does "This is discontinued!" mean exactly? You are no longer developing it or MAX! has changed in some way??
Thanks

Problems with ELV MAX! protocol connection
Just starting out with this so please forgive any stupid/previously answered questions! Looked at the post " ELV MAX! protocol description" and it appears to me I should be able to make a connection to the Cube on port 80 using Telnet?? When I try it disconnects straight away. I am using t...
