Re: Tutorials on how to create a gui using CommandFusion iViewer
Hi mediacj, As I understand it, it's partly there in the latest release...but still very Beta and undocumented. So you can connect now and send jsonrpc commands to DomotiGa over raw tcp. Importantly though, the real time status updates back to iViewer are yet to be coded. I am doing the iViewer side...

Re: Tutorials on how to create a gui using CommandFusion iViewer
Hi, whizzkey, Thanks for the post. I suspect you are using an old version of DomotiGa :) The code was changed a while ago to send a 1 or a 0 for on and off for "switch" and "dimmable" devices. There have also been a number of other improvements. With the move to github, the upgra...

Re: Tutorials on how to create a gui using CommandFusion iViewer
Hi Digit. Absolutely. I did not post for the glory of it. I posted to share and engage in a dialogue with like minded people and, as you say, hopefully inspire some to try new things. The key aspect for me is that hearing others thoughts will to help me help others as I need feedback to improve. It ...

Re: Tutorials on how to create a gui using CommandFusion iViewer
Hi, I have uploaded the gui. In reality, it''s not going to be of much use to anyone, as it's custom for my systems...but I guess you can see the code behind what happens in the the youtube video. You'll obviously need to add your licence to the gui to use the features in this gui (like sub pages et...

WOW! Thankyou so much for posting this. With the price if these units, this might be the perfect solution to my audio matrix switcher needs!!! I had started to make a matrixswitcher myself with a MT8816 with control via an arduino...but if I can get of these units cheap...this would rock my ...

Re: ESXI on atom D525 and Homeseer VMs
Even if you could get virtualisation on an atom D525...why oh why would you! it is the wrong chip for this job. The newer (low end) intel chips have amazingly low power consumption at idle/low CPU usage. the extra $10 a year running cost is nothing compared to the frustration caused by using the wro...

Re: HDMI Overlay device
Why do you think it will not do what you need?
It's even Opensource so you can adapt is if it's not out of the box perfect?
It is a seriously clever piece of tech., and cheap for what it does...ESP. as HDMI is the devils work!

Re: Tutorials on how to create a gui using CommandFusion iViewer
Here is one of the pages...the weather page. It's not in "production" use as it's very much still a work in progress and is really just a framework to help me get all the backend integration working. Basically, the top row is status. The Left hand side is a scrolling menu (with icons). The...

Re: 1-wire - ds2423 crazy counts?
I have seen this with my water counter too. So is the issue on the sensor side or on the one wire network side? I use an Elster water meter with a small counter probe and it comes with 4 code unshielded cable (~3m). From the counter back to the one wire hub, I am using cat6 across the 1-wire network.
