Toon1 stuck on activate at service center during installation wizard

hoi hoi,

I recently moved into a new home (rental) which featured a Toon (v1).

I'm not sure about everything I did again but I think I wanted to update it, but the D03 error showed up, so I resetted the thing.

So now the Toon only displays the 'finish installation wizard' screen. When I do that it wants me to connect to the wifi, which I do, and then it gets stuck. There's a check sign in a green dot next to the blue internet bar which says it's connected with the internet. Below that is a blue bar which says activate at service center but ofcourse it never does.

Anyone here knows how to get my Toon unstuck? Tried to root it, but to no avail. It finds the ToonRouter but nothing happens after that. Tried to activate as well but it didn't work out either (should I try it for longer maybe?).

Anyone who can help me get my Toon working?
