very interesting if this will work...then we need a new transmitter for 868

Waiting patiently here for any News too.
I've had the CM-zone system for over a year now and it is very good. Just lacks PC control.
I bet it's not going to be a 5-minute job sorting the protocol for this. Reading through the manuals, it looks like quite a complex communication system.

Snelvuur and myself have visited Bert last Wednesday and Bert is pretty sure he can make RFXCOM mimic the binary data going over the line, but for me that's just the beginning: We still need to figure out what each byte means and how the checksum is calculated, if present. So we still have a couple of challenges to overcome.

We are a bit reluctant on releasing information on our progress because we don't want people to buy HR80s in anticipation of RFXCOM. We don't even want people to get their hopes up because there's still plenty of room for disappointment. But we haven't run into any-show stoppers yet.

I already have 14 HR80 valves, 2 CM67 controllers (4 zones) and 2 HC60 relays so I suppose RFXCom support would be just the icing on the cake if it does become a reality, but as a stand-alone system I am very satisfied so far.

My house was a real problem when it came to heating with my old 2 zone system. Some rooms were too cold and some too warm. This is why I went for the CM-Zone system. It was not cheap, (over 1000 GBP) but is has provided much better control over the room temperatures than I was expecting and I suppose it must have saved a bit of fuel as well along the way.

Ideally I would like to be able to set each valve independently rather than grouping in zones but I don't fancy paying out for the Hometronic controller.

Today i got my CM57 with 3 HR80
One of them is not fitting well..I have to look for the converters..
They are big..

CM57 has two zones..is it possible to combine two CM57?
maybe i will buy a second set for the second floor.

My controllers are the CM67z models, also with 2 zones. I have 2 of these giving 4 zones in total. You can bind any number of HR80's to any zone on any controller.
Also you can bind more than 1 CM67z to The HC60 boiler relay.

The link I posted was an old one I saved from before. You used to be able to browse the directories at http:\\content.honeywell.com and there was a load of PDF's for various products.

Looks like they have removed that ability now.

Honeywell do seem to do a very good job of hiding useful information so no one can find it.[:(!]
