Hi,
has anyone tested the OTGW together with the Remeha Quinta 25 and the rematic set Q100 (or the similar Paradigma Modula II with SystaCompact)?
I have recently taken over the boiler with the thermostat and would like to add the OTGW to submit data via MQTT and NodeRed to a database, running on a Raspi.
Data handling ist not the question in this topic. I only would like to know if someone has experiences with the above named boiler and thermostat.
I´m looking forward to your replies.
Thanks and kind regards

Hi,
Is there nobody having experiences with this hardware in combination with the OTGW?

I haven't had experience with this particular boiler and thermostat, but have used OTGW with other devices and it worked fine sending data via MQTT. Good luck with the setup!has anyone tested the OTGW together with the Remeha Quinta 25 and the rematic set Q100 (or the similar Paradigma Modula II with SystaCompact) here?

Hi,
thanks couby6 for your reply.
Data transfer via mqtt to Nodered (or other Home automation systems) and data storage in a mysql database is not my problem. I have several experiences with such a configuration.
Before buying the OTGW I would like to know if someone is operating the Remeha Quointa / Paradigma Modula II boilers with corresponding OT thermostats / controllers and the OTGW.
I would appreciate any comment from this cpommunity.
Best regards

Re: OTGW with Paradigma Modula II (Remeha Quinta 10/25/30)
Hi,
unbfortunately I did not receive any post with real experiences to my requested issues
during the last weeks. Anyway...
Meanwhile I have bought an OTGW with installed Wemos (for WiFi) at the NODO Shop. Excellent handling of my order and very short delivery time for the parts
. Final assembly of the OTGW was simple.
After a "cold commissioning test" (without connection to an OT boiler / thermostat) and configuration of static IP, MQTT etc.) today the first "warm commissioning test" was performed.
Remark:
MQTT, NodeRed and Database run on a locally installed Raspberry Pi 4B (4GB, Bookworm). The Raspi is connected per ethernet to an LTE Router, to have access via Wireguard from a far site to the complete system and the database. So Router, OTGW and Raspi operate in the same LAN segment.
The OTGW has been connected to the OT-Bus in combination with the following equipment:
- Boiler: Paradigma Modula II
- Thermostat: Paradigma SystaCompact
The results of these first test show in general satisfying results:
- OTGW has been directly recognized on the BUS
- No Error messages at the boiler / thermostat
- Main operation and system parameters have been displayed in the OT Monitor and on the Web interface
- The Log-Files reflect the short commsioning time with comprehensible output
- MQTT operated well (checked with MQTT Explorer); connection to NodeRed and the database has currrently not set into operation (will follow soon)
Issues to be evaluated / optimized in the next steps:
- Behaviour after reboot and currency interruption, especially WiFi connection via the Wemos D1
- Content of MQTT information submitted by the OTGW and the further processing with NodeRed and the database
- Evaluate long term operation of the OTGW and the influence on the boiler / thermostat
So I will continue to report, as soon as additional result are available
Kind regards
