One thing is sure.. If you want to learn about domotica do not go there, but ask here on the forum.
Every stand (system) will tell you that it's better than the one you just visited before :/

Maybe we (as forum) should have a stand next year :-)

I've only visited two companies and only talked with other forummembers. If there was enough room on the parkingplace I could have talked 45 minutes longer without using the PENDELBUS.
That was the only bad thing today.

Smarthomes and Pieter, thanks.

You should have parked your car next to the houses right infront of the building :-)

Thanks,

Enver

@Wifi. I think you're right, but I could not find the front, anyway we've talked a lot and no hard feelings to the organising peoples. By the way, we dit not shake hands.

@Chak. Paul was very enthousiastic (Is dit engels) and I hope he will write the plugin. Maybe he'll need a modified version of the SDK of plugwise so the total powerconsumption can also be read directly from the modules and not from the database. It was nice talking to mister rfxcharts.

Later today I will be leaving the Netherlands and travelling back to sunny Yorkshire.

I would like to thank the Dutch people for making my short stay in the Netherlans very enjoyable. It was good to meet some of the forum members here face to face and thank you very much for conducting yourselves in English for my benefit. We Brits really are lazy when it comes to languages and I make no excuses for that.

Thank you to Pieter for organizing the ticket for me.

A special thank you to Chak for waiting for me at Utrecht station after I took the wrong train [:(] and for taking me to Eindhoven in his car. Also thanks to Jay Bee for giving me a lift back to Amsterdam, that was really kind of him.

I am armed with a Plugwise starter set and some specific instructions from Chak to go away and create a Homeseer plug-in in super fast time[:)] Only kidding Chak.

As many people know, I have now sold my business and in the new year I will have much more time to play around with domotica stuff. I still have some loose-ends to tie up with the business but in January I will make a start on the Plugwise stuff.

Finally, a special thanks to Bert and his family for their hospitality. If any of you ever visit Yorkshire, be sure to give me a call and you are welcome to visit my house.

Paul..

Hello everybody, (for sooty/Paul in english although this thread is normally dutch)
It was great meeting all of you although I had a mail in my mailbox from our general manager why I skipped the important meeting yesterday.... As quite a new forum-member I really enjoyed talking (and seeing you). In those few hours I learned al lot and I knew it was going to cost me money. I added an Ipod Touch to my whishlist to have a good looking remote (Pronto too expensive for me). It's funny how you imagine people totally different from what they actually look like. Pieter looked really like a normal person instead of a computer wizz ;-) and if I would have walked into Zebra Film somewhere I would NEVER have guested he was a domotica enthusiast (no offense guys ;-). I had a great day and if we have a meeting sometimes, count me in. Jeroen
P.S. Pieter and Smarthomes: Thanx for the ticket!
