switching modules through db

hello,

I just got my plugwise kit and it works great.

To have a nicer userinterface i'm making a realtime 3d model of my house in which al data is displayed.

I got the connection to de mdb database working and everything is displayed realtime.

I just don't understand how to switch the modules. Can I use te db connection to do this???

On a second thought I thinks it is a weird path of thinking

I guess a direct serial connection is the way to go to send commands
