CTX35 Cable length

Hi all,
I like to place my CTX35 closer to the electricity meter cupboard.
To do this I need to extend the serial cable.
I like to do this using cat5 Ethernet cable.
What is the maximum length for the cable?

But assuming your using 4800 baud, you should be fairly ok extending it easy.

I was looking for a webshop for RJ45 to DB9 converter they ask crazy prices..
do you know any shop near to Utrecht?...
Soldering...is nothing for me..in the past I did extend video cable it cost me 5 adpters and lot of time...

I have already 1 part of the converter (cisco router cable/adapter)
