The RFXmitter supports in addition to the standard transmitter the following protocols:
HomeEasy EU,
Ikea Koppla,
Flamingo,
ATI Remote,
Robocam/Ninja.

The RFXmitter is supported by the Homeseer RFXCOM plugin and xPL.

thank you for the quick answer.

so if i want to use an other program then homeseer i need the standard transmitter and if i want to use homeseer i need the rfxmitter?

the standard transmitter can't communicate with homeseer plugin?

So i can't switch software in time if i choose one of these transmitters?

i'm sorry for all these questions but it;s not clear for me.

Bert,

will there be support for the RFXmitter in other software? Or is development of such software limited by an NDA? (Which rules out a language like perl that I am using).

RFXmitter protocols are delivered under NDA.

Other software can use the standard transmitter using the X10 protocol to control all devices.

How can I determine the UK or EU model for HomeEasy if I buy it online? I would like to develop it using perl/linux for UK version with the standard transmitter.
