Eneco CT1021 electricity smeter + RFXCom 70088

Post by I-1 »

Hoi,

I have the above electricity meter at home.
I was wondering if this is fase1 or fase3

If I do a google on CT1021 i find the following information:
http://www.xemex.be/index.php?page=prod_watchtalk
Mor info on my meter:
http://www.xemex.be/files/ct1021.pdf

It clearly states that thi sis a 3-fase meter so I will need the following 2 devices to measure my electricity right?:
- http://www.rfxcom.com/receivers.htm#80011 - master verion(because I allready have a 2-port LAN version)
- http://www.rfxcom.com/sensors.htm#70088

Just want to be sure I can use this before I order anything.
You can find pictures below of my electricity meter...

Is there a blinking LED or pulsecounter on the meter ?
Otherwise the solution Alexander suggest is better!
Also with this solutions it does not matter if you have a 3 phase installation and you have already the rfxcom lan receiver.

This is not a 3 phase installation, the number of groups is to low and also the Earthleak and main switch are all single phase. So no need for any 3 phase measuring.

http://www.xemex.be/files/ct1021.pdfHere you can find the technical manual for this meter, it shows that the unit can be installed as a module on either a 1 phase or a 3phase base. In the eneco manual they state there is a blinking led for usage.

This is what you call a 3 phase installation

@Bwired @Alexander
When I look at the meter I see what looks like 2 little LEDS with the description "1000 imp/kwh" (see picture)
But there is no actual light blinking.

So I am not sure if the blinking light thing will work

@Alexander
I live in Nesselande indeed ... what gave it away ... the blue KPN Fibre cable?
Or do you also live in Nesselande?

Anyway you say that it does not mather for me if I take the http://www.rfxcom.com/sensors.htm#70087 or the http://www.rfxcom.com/sensors.htm#70088 ?

If that is the case and the blinking light solution is not working for me ... what are you asking for the 70088?

@fantic,
The small manuel I have is not saying anything about LEDS blinking ...
What manuel are you talking about?

The LED is an infrared light, you can use the RFXPulse to count the amount of light pulses. It works, I have the same device.
There used to be a topic about the device on this forum, but unfortunately it was removed by a somewhat over-enthusiastic moderator.

I don't have the number at the moment what i have (ain't at home current), but you ask for the electricity meter i guess (eventhough you mention 3 devices?)? I don't have the same one. Another one that has a blinking led. But the device will not change. So i can show you the RFXCOM devices (I've the USB RFXCOM device btw not an ethernet one, but its the same idea) and Homeseer setup.

About the IR you guys did got me thinking: would the central heating meter also use IR? Its the blue device on the second and third photo
