x10 heyu and xpl-perl

Post by Kroonen »

Hi,

I'm using heyu on for my cm11g usb adapter (/dev/ttyUSB2) to transmit the signals.
I'm using the rfxcom wih xpl-perl for my oregon temp sensors.
But.. now i want to recieve signal of my smoke detector (x10), and i want to use heyu, with the rfxcom. if i turn TTY_AUX /dev/ttyUSB0 RFXCOM the xpl-perl stops working. Is there a way to let them work together??

xpl-perl comes with a package thats build with the heyu package as far as i know. So instead of using heyu, you could try the xpl-x10 (i think) program instead.

I'm also using heyu togheter with an cm11-serial adapter. I've tried xpl-x10 but it takes a lot (99%) of processor time (Suse 10.3). You can see this by using the command 'top'.

if xpl takes up 99% cpu, it normally means it cant do something right (like aquiring serial port access) check the log files for more clarification because it should normally not be.
