Badtub monitorig?

I've seen those DMX panels with colors which are nice. I didn't know any practical stuff for it untill now.

Basicly it would be very neat, if your badtub is running full and once its full (or gradually) change the color of one of those dmx panels.

So basicly an indicator for the badtub once its full (since it takes some time)

Any idea's on how to do this without destroying the tranquillity of the badtub? Just placing wires in the badtub is kinda ugly. Maybe place a sensor inside the water hole if the badtub becomes to full. Then its still hidden (but the tub might be too full, you know sit in it and it will go over the edge if you jump in it straight away)
