RFXCOM Slave receiver not working

Today I received the Visonic slave receiver I ordered for my RFXCOM USB module.

However, it seems I do not get any data from this receiver into my computer. The slave-receiver is receiving (I can tell this from the LED that lights up), but it does not output any data.

I tried the RFreceiver tool to check for things, this is what I get (Select variable mode and then 'Get receiver version'):

As you can see the 433 receiver (master) is working fine. Activating a Visonic sensor does not give any output on the screen. Any idea what is going wrong here?

Problem solved!

Seemed that both receivers were operating at different baudrates. Switching from 38400 to 4800 in RFreceiver and the master receiver disappeared, but data from the slave receiver was appearing.

I removed the slave-receiver, change the baudrate for the master receiver to 4800, re-inserted the slave receiver and changed-back the baudrate to 38400 (Using the 'Toggle baudrate' option in RFreceiver). That did the trick.

During 15 minutes of testing in which I pressed the buttons on two keyfobs several times I managed to get only one answer:

I pressed all buttons on the keyfobs, but no reaction. Positioning myself close to the RFXCOM receiver or further away does not make any difference. The Powermax Pro recognized every keypress, so the keyfob is transmitting and data is decoded.

Any clue what is the matter here?

The receiver is sometimes not able to receive certain keyfobs.
Besides this is the range very limited. In a few months I will do some tests to check if a preamplifier will improve the keyfob receiving.

I varied the distance between the keyfob and the RFXCOM receiver from a few centimeters to a few meters, but that did not make any difference. And besides, the doorsensors / motion sensors are decoded ok, so why not the keyfob?

The keyfob is using another protocol with a very different timing. (CodeSecure versus PowerCode).
