Powersupply's on extra RFXPwr modules

Post by Richard »

Hi to all,

I've recently bought two extra RFXPwr modules (from Lennard) and now i was wondering what to do with the two 'extra' power supply's?

My own RFXMeter (with one RFXPwr module installed) has allready a powersupply, does this mean i can cut off (remove) the powersupply's from the extra RFXPwr modules?

Each RFXPwr module needs an adapter!
The adapter is used to measure the line voltage and must be connected to the same power phase as the CT is clamped to.

Thank you. i had that in mind but i didn't know for sure.

Just currious, you say the Pwr module uses the powersupply to measure the line voltage. How do you know what the line voltage is on the 'primary' side of the powersupply? do you use a 'conversion' factor to calculate the primary side voltage?
