error 2025 Denial-Of-Service attack (plugwise?)

Post by Edwin2008 »

Running on WXP-Pro as host with a VMServer guest (WXP-Pro)
On the guest HS2 is running. As soon as plugwise source (v20090610.0)was running the Host frequently has an error 2025 resulting after a while in disconnecting the network card for the guest. sideeffect is that this completly freezes the host. Pretty anoying since the host does more as just hosting homeseer.

Solution was Article ID: 898468 "Event ID 2025 is logged in the System log on a Windows Server 2003-based computer" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898468.
I raised the MaxMpxCt from 50 (default) to 100 and no more error 2025. Host is now running stable for more then two days.

edit: To early jump. again the same error (but host kept on running) increased value to 150.
