Did anybody get the plugwise software working on Windows Server 2008?
During the install it errors out. Let's hope it is different with the new version....
Now it is running on a WinServer2003 / Home server but I prefer 2008.

Didn't work for me either; Windows Server 2008 Enterprise x64. Same thing, errors during install. Now it's running in a XP VM together with some other things like a media server.

Let's hope they catch up on time, I am switching to WinServer2008 R2 :-)
Not sure the error is related to the 64bit platform or WSRV2008 in general.

You can try the new beta. I've heard that maybe 64bit is supported in this version.

Reinder, when tried the new beta yesterday I got an error that my license did not support the webserver, do I need to get a different license?
THe new beta was also not upgrading very well (to say it mildly) but I will try again on my other server with a clean install.

Thanks but no, i'm satisfied with how it is now. The only reason to try the Source on the host partition was to avoid USB problems in the Hyper-V environment. I solved this with a Belkin USB Network hub so everything is working fine now. And i don't like becoming the next beta victim, so i'm patiently waiting for Source 2.0.

I'm not sure it will work, because it's not in the specs, and therefore not tested. But because with the new beta, the start is made by supporting 64bit, I hope it will work.
Please, don't start a clean install with the release verwion, but directly with the beta setup:

restore works and USB stick is recognized, so far no errors and reporting works fine. All rooms are there too.
