The Aeon Labs door/window sensor.
Hello everyone,
At the moment I am active with the Z-wave technology. I want to buy the Aeon labs door/window sensor, but I need to know if this module works under homeseerpro. Please leave a message behind if you know the answer for my question.
Kind regards,
Niek

Re: The Aeon Labs door/window sensor.
Can anyone tell me how to install this device (I didn't get the manual)? I just googled but I only got information how to include this in your z-wave network not how to install this actually...
For someone that has done this many times this might seem obvious, but for a layman as me I'm not sure what to do...

Re: The Aeon Labs door/window sensor.
What do you mean with install: physical or software-based?

I meant the physical installation.
Re: The Aeon Labs door/window sensor.
This manual you did see?: http://www.aeon-labs.nl/download/AEO_DWSENS_in_en.pdf
To install, just mount one part on the frame and the other one on the door. Such as : http://www.eemlandtechniek.nl/illu/alarm/PICT0016.JPG

In my test setup I have one running and it was by far the easiest device to mount and configure. It's as simple as screwing the frame on the doorframe and the magnet on the door. Place the device, place the outerhull over magnet done... If you have a specific question, just ask.

Structor,
Can you please post some pictures of the inside. I'm curious if it is easy to connect wires to the system instead of using the magnet system.

Re: The Aeon Labs door/window sensor.
According to zwaveworld forum, you have to use the Everspring door sensor for easy modding (Or whatever brand it is sold as.)
