Pieter,
On the new board the HTML-code of some postings is also visible, for instance I can see the formatting HTML code on some postings of Enver
for instance this post viewtopic.php?f=35&t=3447 contains this reference
Enver
http://twitter.com/Chak64%20My%20Domoti" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... dware.html My Domotica Hardware Software
Or is this due to a browser setting (IE-8)
Erik

Re: HTML visible on some psotings
yes
those are some old posts
also happening with the {quote} and some other stuff
I'm busy with this but phpbb does not make it easy for me as certian fields are store as UTF8-BIN in the database.
Will be corrected soon

Re: HTML visible on some psotings
It's just a matter of replacing the < and > with a [ and ].
Re: HTML visible on some psotings
I wish it was that easy
Re: HTML visible on some psotings
Ok, that's a pitty.
It's what I did with all my posts in which it showed the html language.
After that all was fine.
What seems to be the problem then with the conversions?

Re: HTML visible on some psotings
OK
perhaps you had a simple one
the above post does not work that way.
And then there are the nested Quotes which are evnn more complicated
I'm trying to update the post with a script now
But if everyone comes alone his own post and update it manualy it would help a lot
Thanks

I understand, sorry to make it sound easy which it obviously isn't.
