ZTH200 controller

Post by FlyingBirdy »

Hi All,

A question about the HomePro ZTH200 controller.
Is it possible to read the status of a device, the manual is not clear about that?
For the Duwi remote control there is a special button, a led will give the actual status of a device.

Thanks,

Hi FlyingBirdy,

The thing you describe this remote doesn't do. I have to warn you, this remote is pretty spartan and in my opinion a POS, the battery life is AWFUL. My advice, if you're looking for a remote to use, is buy something else. (ezhome.nl sells several other models.)

Good luck

The Duwi remote reads status on my Innovus Dimmers. (shown with LED colour.)

But i will not work with any master. :-(

Hi All,

Thanks for the answers!
The looks and power consumption is not so important for me.
I want it for reverse engineering (Spartan things are mostly simply to decode better than the new devices with one or two smd ic on a pcb).
As far as I now the code format for z-wave is duplex and not full duplex to the remote-controller or an other kind of central it’s just polling the receivers.
(Probably a sort of bi-phase coding with CRC check)
