After changing the receiver to another pc and using the rfreceiver tool, i do get this result:

Code: Select all

Version request to receiver => F020
21-1-2010 20:12:41= 66662C2C Version 66 66
21-1-2010 20:12:41= 266F3C6F Unknown data packet received
21-1-2010 20:12:42= 6F6F Buffer flushed due to timeout
21-1-2010 20:12:43= F2F2F2F2 Unknown data packet received
21-1-2010 20:12:43= F4 Buffer flushed due to timeout

Funny you report this, because this is something i'd checked (read the sticky earlier), but the baudrate of the application was 4800 and i didn't used the button. Could this be that Homeseer was running with 38400? I really don't know what happened. After your post i hit that button connected again at 4800, remained the same, used the button again and tried 38400. So can it be that i did connect at 4800 while i'd to connect with 38400?

Edit: the device was configered to communicate @ 38400, but homeseer was and is @ 4800. So don't know how this has changed, because i'd copied the homeseer directory to the other pc after first installing homeseer. Using the do not use button the receiver changed from 38400 to 4800. All fine now. So the button is of good use (and needed ;-) ).
