Mobotix has always kept their API for themselves, which kept me from buying a Mobotix because I can not store the data in Surveillance station of Synology.
Fortunately they are now open to integration, and Synology has added support in their current beta version of DSM2.3 for these Mobotix camera's:
D12Di-IT, D12Di-IT-Dnight, D12Di-Sec, D12Di-Sec-180, D12Di-Sec-Dnight, D24M-IT-D22, D24M-IT-Night, D24M-Sec, D24M-Sec-Night, M12-DevKit-Board, M12D-IT-DNight, M12D-Sec, M12D-Sec-DNight, M22M-IT, M22M-IT-Night, M22M-Sec, M22M-Sec-Night, M22-Sec-CSVario, Q24M-Sec, V12D-Sec, V12M-Sec.
More details on the new DSM2.3 features can be found here: http://www.synology.com/enu/support/bet ... 3_2010.php
P.S. It looks like a very nice update!
Mobotix support in Synology

Re: Mobotix support in Synology
AFAIK Mobotix has a SDK available since 2005? But correct me if i'm wrong.
I am a happy owner of a Mobotix D22 for 8 days now and i already managed to integrate it on my website & touchscreen, helped by the excellent documentation and huge flexibility you have in configuring the camera. I use my Synology NAS to store recordings, but not by using Surveillance Station; because it can never ever match the large amount of functionality the Mobotix has to offer by itself. Nevertheless, a great improvement by Synology.

Re: Mobotix support in Synology
Thats correct, the only thing about the API was you could not integrate easily with other software such as Surveillance station. Now I can have just one interface for regular views and recordings. That is a step further then Mobotix used to support the last few years.
I'd like to mix Mobotix with other brands, each camera has it's pro's and con's. The only thing is I don't like mixing different interfaces.
