Visonic and receiver

Post by binkiem »

The word "Visonic" cannot be use in searching this forum (the word is to common so ignored) so i just post my questions.

I have a RFXcom lan with a 433.92MHz receiver for e.g. Oregon stuff

A would like to buy a MCT-100 for connecting a rain detector.

1) Do i need a separated receiver module for Visonic?
2) And what frequenty is better 433.92MHz or 868.95MHz ?
3) Send all visonic modules both frequenties?

You can also use a X10 DS90 door/window sensor. This sensor can be received by the 433.92MHz receiver you have.

If you want to use the MCT100 you need the 868.95MHz receiver http://www.rfxcom.com/receivers.htm#40079
