You can use a script line with &hs.PollDevice "E1"
and it will return you the status of the device. (On or OFF)
You can also send an extended status command, like 'hs.ExecX10 "E1", "Extended", 0, 55
and it will reply with extended xxx 56
xxx is the dim level with the highest bit set. Like 50% gives you 160 56.
160 is hex A0 minus highest bit is 20 hex, this is level 32 (of the 64 levels)

Thanks for the extra info.
When executing the extended command it sends the command but homeseer does not notice a response. However, if i then open activehomepro and check the log i can see the command homeseer send and the response the device send back. So the device does send it's status back, it's just that homeseer does not receive it! (where activehomepro does).

Any ideas whats wrong with my homeseer? Do other people have this working with a cm15pro?

Do you connect Homeseer and ActivePro in parallel to the powerline? How is ActivePro connected to the powerline?

Sorry to reserect this old thread but I am in the process of moving from AHPro to Homeseer and I am having the same problem with polling my SAIX12 devices. With AHPro I can manually press the poll button and the status updates correctly. In the activity monitor I can see the request sent and the response received so I know the SAIX12 devices are working.
In Homeseer I have defined the devices as 'Application Module w Status'. When I click on 'Poll Devices' it pauses for a while but says (No Response) for each of the devices. Nothing appears in the Homeseer log. If I then open up AHP and look at the activity log there is no sign that Homeseer sent or received anything when polling.
I am using the CM15U as an interface and have cleared all downloaded data from it's previous use with AHP.
I haven't tried scripts yet.
Should I be defining the devices differently? Does anybody get this to work?

I did not get this to work, even though i tried a gazillion setting, also tried manually sending the commands from homeseer but still never got an answer (maybe i did not find the right command string for the status request).

Very frustrating, but eventually i gave up. Is there anybody at all who has got this working?

Can it be that the Homeseer plugin for the CM15Pro is not supporting the request? I am using a PMIX35 and it is working ok for me.
