Iphone track & trace to own server

Does anybody know if there is a GPS Track & Trace app available for the apple iphone which you can set to your own server. So upload the track and trace data to a server of choice.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but you could use Google latitude. There is an API that provides access to the data logged.

Thanks i will check that, but i want to log directly to my own server like I do now with Trackme for windows mobile.

You could use Cylay to fetch the GPS data and process it yourself. Only interface I know of is using SMS:

I also found GadgetTrak, but I'm not sure what the interface options are.

Actually this app does it almost - you cannot log to your own server - but there is an api to get location information from the instamapper site.

The downside of instamapper is that the development has come to an almost stop.
It's a great app but it doesn't even support iOS 4.X with backgrounding.

You need the external backgrounding app (cydia) to let it run in the background.

Have a look at Moostrax, they also provide an api (json and xml).

Google Lattitude is free and is able to run in the background natively on iPhone 3GS or later running IOS4.x.

Lattitude is a cool app but might be too much. Just sending coordinates (xml format) to a server of choice is all what we really need. Do we have iPhone developers on the forum ? Shouldn't be to difficult to develop a little app like that.
