The problem seems to be that there is nothing to poll. But perhaps HomeSeer has a better status of the switch than the software I use now (Ip-Symcon).

I have only a boolean status and the dim percentage. The boolean can not show the three 'states', because a boolean's got only two :) And the percentage seems to have no meaning whatsoever if you just use the device as a double switch with no time delay.

The Duwi blind controle is detected as a double device in Homeseer.
Generic: SWITCH MULTILEVEL

In Homeseer you will see 3 devices
1 Root (The main zwave device for config)
2 Child Z-Wave Switch Binary(On/OFf)
3 Child Z-Wave Switch Multilevel (Dim/bright)

Number 2 and 3 can be used for controlling.

Let me know if HomeSeer does a better job in providing a status if you will.

I'm not very satisfied with IP-Symcon regarding Z-Wave. There doesn't seem to be very much support on it.

I think I will investigate xPL a bit further. Seems like a good open source project in which I can further expand my own modules. On that matter, and off-topic, I am looking into the FTDI driver of my FHZ1300PC device. Planning to write my own software for this device so I can use my FHT80b thermostats in the xPL environment.

As far as I can see now, xPL seems the largest and most mature open source project (supporting dotnet and not linux or perl only like FHEM) going on.
