MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired
Re: MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired
Here you see how easy the clickfit system is which i'm gonne use for my MetdeZon solarpanels
Re: MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired
Yes, I've seen the video's about installing the panels on the roof. My location would be on a flat roof thus requiring the stanchions and lots of ballast. Generally I think flat roof is an easier workingspace compared to a standard /\ shaped one.
As I understand it connecting the converter to the mains is just a matter of plugging in a standard schuco-plug and using a seperate elec-group (which I already have).
My main concern is the electricity connection of the panels and to the converter in a watertight way.
My searches did indeed also land at the MetDeZon website but I'm waiting till next spring.

Most of the the time the MC-4 connector is used. This will assure a watertight connection. You need a special tool for this connectors. A lot of PV suppliers have the option to rent this tool for free. Otherwise you can buy one for approx. Euro 175,-.
Furthermore you need a switch at the eelctricity board so it is possible to disconnect the PV installation from the mains under all circumstances.
BTW Currently my PV installation is generating 1.6 kWh

Re: MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired
I have installed my own panels, 6 in total. Took me half a day with 2 people, using the click-fit system.
If you're not afraid of working on the roof I would recommend doing it yourself, since most company's ask quite some money to do the installation.

It looks do-able.
I'm a little surprised that the guy just walks around the roof without safety..
And the 2 extra panels laying horizontally look ugly. I would have left those out.
My biggest concern is getting the extra powerline to my 'meterkast' in a good looking way.

Leaving 2 panels out is not always an option. For example, on the mastervolt soladin 600 you need 3 panels to get enough voltage.
That's also the reason why you have to be carefull with shadows and suchs. During the early morning, one of my solar panels is in the shade of the chimney, and then neither of those 3 panels provide any electicity.

And friday the solar panels for Bwired will be delivered
Re: MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired
You will be lucky. Saturday 11 hours of sun
Re: MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired
In that case you can use a low voltage inverter, where you connect the panels parallel.wwolkers wrote:Leaving 2 panels out is not always an option. For example, on the mastervolt soladin 600 you need 3 panels to get enough voltage.

With 1 panel in the shade, the other 2 will keep on delivering power.

i am thinking of a system, quiet some time now.
and not sure what system is right for me.
how it's working when the system is producing more then the power use of the house.
normal during the day our home has a power cunsumtion of 500 W.
let say the solarsystem is producing 1000 W ,..500 w is delivered back to the energie company.
how u gone registrate the back delivery.
ore is it beter to get a system whith less output?

Re: MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired
Depends on what energymeter you got, but it can always with a larger string of panels.
In my case the meter just counts backwards, so you are giving back to your provider during the day.

Re: MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired
How can you tell if your meter counts backward?
Is it only the ondes with spinning discs or also newer ones.
I have an ENERMET T5070 double counter. (Not older than 8 years)

i have one without a disc, but with a mechanic counter
I expect it to run backwards......
Can anybody tell more about this

Re: MetdeZon Zonnepanelen voor Bwired
small preview, these Tendens panels look small on the roof but believe me they are big.
Placing on the roof is very easy with clickfit, getting the panels up there was my biggest problem
5 in total now, still not connected to the SMA 1200 sunnyboy
More info and pictures to come....

Panels are looking good. It was a nice day to do the install.
Do you have shadow from the chimney?
This could cost a lot of energy.
Is it an idea that everybody with a PV System monthly posts the yield of their system in Kwh/Kwp so we can compare the systems.
