Marmitek Proguard 800 questions

Dear group,

I hope this is sufficiently on-topic, but I have some questions on the Marmitek Proguard 800 alarm system:

- when arming the system, the "lock" LED indicator turns red, but it does not stay lit for more than 2 minutes or so. The alarm stays armed however, but the indication of it being armed is no longer there; is anyone else experiencing the same?
- according to the manual, it is possible to disable the tones emitted from extra wired LCD keypads. Even though I have followed all the steps, my extra wired keypad still keeps emitting these (rather loud) tones. Any thoughts there?
