Automatic LED lighting

Last week, for some reason, I had to visit the bathroom quite often during the night. It was a painful experience..
So I decided to do something about it and create something to light the bedroom floor when someone gets out of bed during the night.
Goal: quickly and painlessly reaching the bathroom, without waking others.
And it should all be completely automatic of course, I don't wanna search for a light switch in the dark
A spare Arduino, 2 PIRs, an LDR and a piece of LED strip will solve this problem:

Thank you for sharing. Looking good. Curious to see pictures of the LED strip 'in action' (at night).

What is the role of Homeseer in this setup? Or is it a direct interaction between the PIR and the LED strip?

The role of Homeseer? None! For 2 reasons:
1. I don't use Homeseer, I use my own homebrew Domotica system.
2. This is a autonomous solution, no interaction with the rest of the world: PIRs, LDR & sketch take care of it all.

I need more time, I still have 3 arduino's floating around, but haven't used them yet. I have more then 3 projects in my head...

Update..

Cutting LED strip, gluing them to the bed, finding some wires and mounting the LDR is what I did today.
I can't show any LED pics yet, cause the glue is not dry yet; the LED strip is held in place by tape till tomorrow afternoon.
Here some pics of the LDR. Spectacular, eh? More tomorrow!

Today the first test. A broken power adapter tried to spoil the party but the rest went smooth.
The LED strips are working well and the PIR is sensitive enough too, so no adjustments were needed.
OK this is what it looks like in complete darkness (as in where you can't count your own fingers) with LED strips on.
You can see the red power LED and the PIR is to the left of the red LED.
