Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller
Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller
Final a good Event/Scene controller.
Compared to the original Duwi firmware this enhanced firmware offered the following advantages:
Two association groups. Its possible to assign different actions to the single and to the double click of the switching paddle
The device can be used to control up to 16 scenes in static IP Gateways.
The device support the control of multi channel devices.
With this device you can controle Homeseer Events and Vera Scenes.

Re: Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller
odd question from me (zwave noobie)
Seen that the zwave.Me devices seem to be a duwi duplicate with new zwave.me firmwares in it, is it possible to update your duwi device with a zwave.me firmware? Ofcourse zwave.me will deny it's possible because it's bad for their business, but is it technically possible?

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!
Fibaro HC2, various z-wave switching, alerting, detection modules.
ELV FHT80b heating system.

Of course its possible. Or how Z-Wave.me do it???jrkalf wrote:but is it technically possible?
But, just forget about it

Re: Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller
With the normal switches Tane organized an upgrade action on this forum. All my switches / dimmers have been upgraded and will really think about upgrading my controllers.jrkalf wrote:odd question from me (zwave noobie)

Uhm, what. Can you rephrase this what do you mean in static ip Gateways?TANE wrote: The device can be used to control up to 16 scenes in static IP Gateways.
Like the fibaro?TANE wrote: The device support the control of multi channel devices.

Re: Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller
Where did you get the info you wrote in the first post about HS events and this controller?TANE wrote: ...

I've been in contact w/ Z-wave.me but they can't help me.
Is there another wall switch I could use together w/ HS for event control?
Best regards L.
Re: Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller
You can use any of Merten battery powered wall, sender modules.drlove wrote:TANE wrote: Is there another wall switch I could use together w/ HS for event control?
Best regards L.
In the HomeSeer this unit will be recognizes as Switch Binary and Group1 will be associated with HS.
So this module will make "in real time" status update in HS (ON or OFF).
This status change you can use to start one or another EVENT......
Re: Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller
With the support of Z-wave.me staff I have tried their software and the switch works great w/ it. Afaik it's HS that don't like the switch.
I'll have to return my switches and order some Merten devices instead
Maybe some day HS will work w/ this switch.

Re: Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller
The issue is definetly within HS from what I've experienced sofar. I'm not really a HS user, but I've used it in the last few weeks for some debugging etc.drlove wrote:With the support of Z-wave.me staff I have tried their software and the switch works great w/ it. I have DomotiGa running and a Vera V3 with UI5.
I have the new "advanced" devices like Fibaro etc running on DomotiGa and Vera v3, but I can't get them to run properly in HS. It seems a lack of the newer zwave code in Homeseer and a lot of devices nowadays. The code for running it properly is partly hidden and very poorly coded in open-zwave (as noted by RDNZL) but RDNZL has been able to code it into DomotiGa.

Re: Z-Wave.Me Wall Controller
I have both the Fibaro FGD211 and FGS221 and I have no problem using them in HS, at least as dimmer/switch. Is there more functions in the Fibaro devices that I don't now about?! *curious*
