Hello,
I have a KAKU ACD-1000. When switching it with the remote control, I receive the following result in RFreceifer:
HE Device=0666ABA Unit 3 ON
Next, i start RFXmitter, choose either RFXCOM mode with receiver connected, or without receiver connected.
Now i go to the AC tab and select the next 0, 66, 6A and BA next to Device.
I also select Unit 3 and press On.
The result window says:
HE Device=0666ABA Unit=3 ON
ACK=> 33
Also the red light on the RFXlan indicates somthing is transmitted.
Unfortunately nothing happens.
Probably this is some beginner mistake I am making right here, but i cannot figure it out.
Could somebady point me in the right direction?
Next to that, what is the difference between the modes with receiver connected and without?
Also, the transmitted information is not seen in RFreceiver. Is that normal? I could imagine that RFXlan-receiver is filtering out messages that are transmitted by itself.
Thx
KAKU not listening to RFXmitter command

Re: KAKU not listening to RFXmitter command
If you select "without receiver connected' you will see the commands transmitted with RFXmitter back in RFreceiver.
Check if the same commands are received when using RFXmitter

Re: KAKU not listening to RFXmitter command
Unfortunately that doesn't do the trick, either mode just changes the ACK statement from ACK=> 33 to ACK=> 37 in RFmitter
HE Device=0666ABA Unit=3 ON
ACK=> 37
Nothing is received in RFreceiver
In RFReceiver I tried: RFXCOM mode, 32bit mode both in cobinatino with enable ALL RF
Just for the record, my initialisation in RXmitter and version requests
Init cmd to transmitter => F037F037
ACK=> 37
Version request to transmitter => F030F030
Transmitter Firmware Version: 44
And the initialisation in RFreceiver:
Init cmd to receiver => F02C
ACK
Enable ALL RF => F02A
ACK
Version request to receiver => F020
Version: Master=56
HE Device=0666ABA Unit=3 ON
ACK=> 37

Re: KAKU not listening to RFXmitter command
never use 32 bits! Use RFXCOM mode
Re: KAKU not listening to RFXmitter command
RFXCom mode does not work.

Re: KAKU not listening to RFXmitter command
Unfortunately my RFreceiver does not show anything invoked by RFXmitter. Also other types of data like X-10 or ARC commands are not shown in RFreceiver, regardless of their ID's
RFreceiver only shows data that is invoked by the original KAKU remote control, or my RFmeter.
I am beginning to suspect that my transmitter is not sending anything at all, but only indicates that it is sending.
Too bad i don't have anything here to test that.
