Oregon THGR122NX

Post by Fischi »

Hi,
I connected a Oregon THGR122NX Thermo/Hygrometer over RFXcom 433rec to Homeseer HS2 and it runs very good.
In homeseer I see the temperature in Celsius, at the Display of the Oregon scientific I see Farenheit.
How to change the Oregon Display to Celsius ???

Hi,
I've opened the sensor and I saw, that there should be a little switch (Jumper), but they wanted to save costs and they have done a solder bridge.
It is very difficult to change it.
I have purchased that sensor together with a RFXcom433rec from Homeseer USA.
Does anybody knows, which Oregon Scientific sensors (433 MHz) have a Celsius display or have all sensors I can buy in Europe/Germany a Celsius Display ??

RFXrec433 is a receiver only!! With this version you cannot transmit commands.
You had better ordered the RFXtrx433 at a European distributor or directly at RFXCOM.

Try this web site for Oregon sensors: http://www.weerhuisje.nl/index.php?item ... 21&lang=NL

Thanks,
I know that my module is only a receiver.
One day after ordering by homeseer I saw it and I got to know that the RFXcom433trx I could get in Europe (Tane).
But at the moment I only want to receive temperature, humidy ... and this works very good.
What devices (especially X10) could be controlled with the 433trx ??

All X10 can be controlled with the RFXtrx433. But the X10 line protocol is much slower compared to the RF and you have to delay X10 commands. better is to use HomeEasy EU (Conrad) or KlikAanKlikUit.
For all receive/transmit possibilities see: http://www.rfxcom.com/transceivers.htm#12103

BTW: RFXCOM is a Dutch company.
