Where to buy RFXcom LAN

Post by Fischi »

Hi, I'm using the 433 MHz RFX com USB transceiver. The RF radius isn't enough.
I want to replace it by an RFXcom LAN transceiver.
Where to buy ?

Regards, Fischi

Yes, the RFXLAN has a better range at least for the AC protocol.
AC receiving has improved with RFXtrx433 hardware version 1.0. This is displayed in the Get Status response in the latest RFXmngr.

Another antenna is officially not allowed on the RFXtrx433 because it is certified with the supplied antenna.
But to increase the receiving range you can connect for example a 190073 Conrad 433MHz ground plane, however this will also increase the radiated transmit power which is illegal!
This adapter can be used for SMA- to BNC http://www.ebay.com/itm/BNC-female-SMA- ... 2a03ea8391
