Strange issue with Fibaro FGS211

Post by pboosten »

Hi all,

I'm having an issue with a Fibaro FGS211 relay insert, which used to work until May 17th:

If I switch the light via HomeSeer (or HSTouch for that matter), the light switches on and off, and the status is shown on either HS or the HSTouch app.
If, however, I switch the light using the normal wall mount switch (either of them, since it's a two-way switch), the light switches on (or off), but it doesn't show anymore in HomeSeer.

A full network optimization reveals this error:

Unable to optimize node 11, light name, the node neighbor update failed. (E/A=00:00:09.9891489/00:00:18)

Does this mean the device broke on me (after having operated a couple of weeks)? Or does it simply need more neighbors (after having operated correctly a couple of weeks)? If the latter: what can cause such a sudden disturbance (when nothing else changed in the z-wave network)?

Peter

Some further testing showed that it actually is broken. I replaced it with a FGS221 (I bought that one for another purpose), and that one actually works.

So RMA I guess :-)
