Re: problem with com verbinding powermax pro
The only way that I can connect to my Powermax Pro is if I use COM 1, 2 or 3.
Anything above does not work for me!
I'm using a serial to usb convertor.
Give a low COM port a try.
Maybe you have the same problem?

Re: problem with com verbinding powermax pro
Only the Powermax Plus has one COM port, the RS232 module for Powermax Pro's has two COM ports, the one on the left is to connect the Powerlink or a PC, the one on the right is to connect a PC. Be careful with the one on the left, this one feeds 12V to the Powerlink. When using a wrong connector (e.g. a RJ45->DB9 with all pins connected) will burn your RS232 interface. Only use the RJ45->RS232 connector that came with the RS232 module, this one has connected 3 pins only.
Have you already tried disconnecting the Powerlink2, as Phaeton suggested?

Re: problem with com verbinding powermax pro
i disconnect the powerlink2, and yes, now it works.
a bit strange that powerlink and rs232 can't work together.
thanks for all the help/advise!
