Weird experience Marmitek versus Xanura

Post by binkiem »

My first Domotica experience is based on a Marmitek starter kit. Over a few months working with it and a lot of visiting this site i went to the next fase "buying some Xanura stuff and replace the ugly LM12 and Am12 modules". At some place i replace a module and find out that the CM11 and TM13 could not reach the new SAIX12. Replace the SAIX12 again with the AM12 and it works again. I am investigating the situation now and i think it has to do with noise. I was "verbaasd" that the marmitek does a better work than the SAIX12.

Binkiem,
A very strange situation that is for sure. The SAIX12 is a much better device then the Marmitek one. Try the SAIX on another place and see what is does. Is it working OK or the same result. Again a very strange situation where I "snap" nothing about :-)

What i did before was to connect the SAIX with a normal 230v wire and a connector, so i could plug it into a normal wcd (wand contact doos). That was the setup for programming the interface. That worked well and stil does. Except if i plug it in in the wcd. That also not works. I think it has to do with that specific powergroup. But the weird thing is still: why is marmitek working and the saix not.

@wifi: can you make a translation of the word wcd?? :)
