Hi
I'm fairly new to the whole home automation happen so my apologies if I don't understand you guys at once.
My question is as follows. I want a KaKu AMST-606 window sensor with RFXcom, HomeSeer to perform a event.
At the moment that the KaKu switch is open it gives a dim value of 13%. At the moment that the switch is closed, the value 0.
Now if I create an event where I say "Device value change" equal to 0 then torn on a light. This works fine! But .... as
I say "device value change" equal to 13 nothing happens.
I feel that, for some reason, the values read by home seer do not correspond.
I have already tried to set a "range" but also no result. Also if I change the setting to "any" value change it does work fine so Homeseer sees the change of the switch
I read about AMST-606 but I do not understand scripts etc so I ask some help through this new topic
I would prefer the status in Homeseer to port open or closed. In HS touch I did manage this but in the status of homeseer I only get a value of 0 for closed and 13% for a opened switch.
Someone an Idea
AMST 606 Rfxcom status request open of closed

How did you configured the sensor in HomeSeer? Manual or with the RFXCOM-plugin > Input Devices > Add option?

I added it via the RFXcom configuration page. I Added an input device: " Garagepoort sensor \3 Garage BGG AC Input Device AC[1C105F89]a 0 1 No 200 0 "
Then I went to the status page. There I see the device switching "Closed = off" and "dim 13% = open" If I just could set the value to eighter op or closed it would be ok. In other devices I can change this in the device properties and click on "edit value status" But RFXcom devices do not have this option.
I really have no clue how to change this

Have you tried the 'Use On/Off status for AC remotes.' option on the RFXCOM-plugin > Input Devices page?

I have the same problem with my nexa 606 door sensor.
The problem is that it gives you a dim, 54% command when its open and not on.(13% in your case)
I did talk to other people that have the same senor but older verson and they get on and off command out from the device.
I think they have changed the code on the senor, but nexa say they havent change the code for det unit.
I was thinking that it was something wrong with my device, so i did buy a new one but i got the same dim,67% out command.
Did try to make it work with homeseer without any luck:(

I also read that they have some problem with the senor for tellstick, but tellstick did fix this in the software.

Can you put your homeseer log here?
Maybe it has something to do with the configured device value pairs. ([url]http://www.homeseer.com/support/homesee ... rs.htm[url])
It's worth trying setting a new value-pair with 'on' / 'off' values en use this in your events.
