Homewizard Smoke Detector support
I see on the site of Homewizard that they now support a smoke detectors @ 433.92 Mhz.
Does support the rfxlan this device also?
homewizard.nl/signalering-alarm-systeem ... dium=email
Some manual from the topic on Tweakers: attachments.content4us.com/datasheets/M ... F_COMP.PDF
They look like the Elro ones, but I'm not sure.

Re: Homewizard Smoke Detector support
Yes, RFXCOM supports for almost a year the KD101 smoke detectors.
The RFXLAN receiver firmware 53 and up can receive the KD101 (Flamingo,Chacon,NEXA,Avidsen,...... smoke det.)
The RFXtrx433 supports receive but can also activate the KD101 siren.
Note that the KD101 does not transmit heart beat or battery empty signals like the SD90!
So you have to check the KD101 on regular base if the sensor is still operating.

Thank you for the quick reply. I've also two Flamingo's, but never tried it with the newest firmware. Hopefully these are working also.

Re: Homewizard Smoke Detector support
I tried it on several ways to connect these 'KD101' smoke detectors to add it in the RFXCOM plugin in Homeseer. Via Input, Security tab of what so ever, no signal is picked up. When I enable the debug levels in the plugin, I receive the signals as you see below, so I think it could be working in some way.
Use the procedure in the rfxcom pdf, but no solve yet.
The signals below are never visible, only when I use the test button on the 6 (connected to each other) smoke detector.
Also the manual-learn-modus when I add the new device is a no go.

Re: Homewizard Smoke Detector support
The receiver needs firmware version 53 or up for KD101 support.
Contact support if you need an upgrade.

Re: Homewizard Smoke Detector support
It the receiver version, not the RFXLAN firmware version.
The receiver firmware can be checked with RFreceiver.

Re: Homewizard Smoke Detector support
Yesterday I'd contact with rfxcom support and via the program RFreceiver you can check your firmware version.
I've probably fw version 51 (Master=51 ), so I have to send my rfxlan or make a visit to rfxcom to upgrade the master firmware, who can't be done by endusers.

Re: Homewizard Smoke Detector support
This morning I visited RFXCOM to update the firmware of both receivers and transmitter in my RFXLAN. Now it works fine with with smokedetectors.
