Not sure, we know it will drain batt more, but you can make some smart settings
Btraced for Android is almost finished now, we had to solve some stability problems
soon to be released.... keep you posted

This app can get huge now that Google announced to stop its Latitude serviceand badge support in august.
Pieter can I get a beta version? B-)

Latitude was actually implicitly 'moved' to G+, so you can still do the same thing and share your location with the circles of your choice.
Just a 'smart' move from Google to get people to use G+ I guess....
It works, started using it and tested it this evening; I can share my location with just those that I want to be able to see it.

I was writing my mail from a developers standpoint.
As far as I can see now there is no way for developers to read a users location after 9 August.
If you can only read your location from inside the Google+ app, there is no need anymore for me and many others to share it with Google.
I hope that they publish a new google+ api call which make this possible, but alot of latitude based app developers are not happy.
