How to waste time..
Today I've spend some hours trying to program some SAIX and DAIX12's, but with no luck.
All SAIX and DAIX12's were nicely tucked away behind the switches. The only thing missing was the front cover of the switch as I still needed to push the little button to set the unit in programming mode.
So.. I started with unit 1, but now way I could get it to accept the code. I tried with an other unit, but with same results.. As a matter of fact ANY of the still needed SAIX / DAIX12's did not wanted to accept the 'house' code. (as yes I did only try to program one unit at the time)
I was about to give up, so I removed all the units, except one. Guess what.. Programing it was no problem.
I guess if you have more than one NONE programed unit connected you can not program ANY of the units.
Now I am adding and programing the units one by one!
What a waist of time.....

How to waste time..
thats a good thing to know... i'am busy setting up homeseer in my house at the moment.. al that linux is nice, but its just to much work and effort and homeseer has a bigger footprint. I can still use linux for other things, but in the end my girlfriend needs to have a working house otherwise she wont follow me

I can tell you that it not the way it's mend to be!
I have like 40 Xanura modules and can add a module, set in programming mode and program it.
The question is how do you program the Unit. I usually program my unit with a TM13 or Xanura RIX together with a remote control.

The way I 'program' the unit is with HomeSeer.
I've created an event with code in it that I got from Chak.<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote">Sub Main
hs.ExecX10 "k2","on", 0, 0
hs.ExecX10 "k2","on", 0, 0
hs.ExecX10 "k2","hail ack", 0, 0
hs.ExecX10 "k2","hail ack", 0, 0
End Sub<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">With every new unit that I 'set' I increase the "in this case k2" with one (k3, k4, k5...)
I've seen the "Immediate Script Command" under the 'Control' option in HomeSeer.
I guess I could copy/paste the above code (with k3, k4 ..) and use that option also (will test it with the next SAIX12)
Anyway. The way I'm doing it now (adding units one by one) is working fine (for now)

I'm not using homeseer, perhaps Chak can shine a light on this.
Beware that some of the Xanura modules use 2 addresses, and if you program the first on like K3 the seconds adres for that module is automatic K4.
But it's working now if you add them one by one. Can you still reprogram the first unit?

You are a typical Dutch guy, just like me [8D] In this case I was part of the manual.
<b>SAIX12</b>
In the standard programming, the other inputs have the same
functionality and automatically have consecutive addresses.
For example: When programming address B01 this is
automatically allocated to the purple input wire and the white
input wire is automatically allocated address B02.

Who reads the manual these days
What I do not get is that I have one SAIX12 on K1 that is working fine, and a second SAIX on K2 also working fine :-/
So.. If the 1st SAIX12 auto allocated address K2, how come that my second SAIX12 with the address K2 also works?

Hi wifi,
The second address of the SAIX12 is for sending only. The internal relay is on the first address. As long as you don't connect a second switch ("serie schakelaar") to the SAIX, it will never send the second address and you can safely use it for the relay/first address of another SAIX12.

Thanks Lennart
@Wifi, did you try to reprogram a module once they are in operation?
