Please collect a log (with PS=0), so I can have a look at what the problem might be.
Attached you'll find my log, at the beginning i've set the TC to 20.50.

That's strange, the thermostat never asks for a remote override room setpoint (MsgID 9). It should normally do that about every 20 seconds. The only theory I can come up with is that during the firmware upgrade it got Unknown-DataID responses from the boiler and decided not to send the message anymore. Maybe it will start sending them again after you disconnect the thermostat for a while (or power off the gateway).

Thanks, yesterday evening I've flashed back to 4.0b2 and it instantly worked again, the thermostat also asked for the remote override room setpoint.
I will try the new beta again tonight and give it a good reset. Also during flashing to b3 it also did take about 16 retries. Flashing back to b2 it didn't take any retries. Maybe that's it as well...

Curiouser and curiouser. There aren't that many differences between 4.0b2 and 4.0b3. I don't see how flashing back to 4.0b2 could have corrected the situation. Or do you power the gateway off & on as part of flashing the firmware?

Could you capture a few minutes of log with 4.0b2 before you give 4.0b3 another try? If you see the same problem again we can try to spot the difference between the two logs.

It appears that you're right that it needed another reset after flashing. Now with beta3 setting the TC value works :)
I've attached the logs i made for you anyway.

This usually means you have an incomplete download. The website shows the size of the file. Does the file you downloaded match that size?

Then you have the correct file, which works for me on Windows XP.

Is that the whole error message? If there's a button called "Details" or something similar, click on it and copy/paste the information provided there.

Is it possible to put a timeline at the bottom of the graph tab,
so I can see at witch time the heater starts and stops.

You know you can click on a point of interest in the graph and get a tooltip with the time and value of the parameter?
