Does the OTG work with the R8810A1018 modulation from Honeywell?
We have the EvoHome modulation and a Vaillant HRPro with VR33-OpenThem module.

Re: OTG compatible with R8810A1018
This question is never answered.
Recently i bought the OTG and the last days i'm playing with it.
I noticed that allot of figures and options are not working/available such as the central heating mode.
Does somebody known how to solve this?
Attached is a screenshot of my openthermgateway monitor.
hopefully somebody could help.

Re: OTG compatible with R8810A1018
You seem to expect to be able to click on "Central heating mode" and make something happen. That's not how it works. The left column only contains indicators that show the state of certain bits in the status byte. When the thermostat instructs the boiler to start heating, the boiler will confirm by setting the "Central heating mode" bit and you will see a tick-mark in otmonitor.

No, i expected that the ticks were indicators for the feature that are available to use with the OTGmonitor.
How could i use/force the OTG to let my CH begin heating?

Re: OTG compatible with R8810A1018
The opentherm protocol is used with modulating boilers, so it's not just either on or off. You will have to decide how much you want it to heat. You can control that using the "Control setpoint" (CS command) and possibly the "Max relative modulation level" (MM command). Or you can go the more usual route of changing the room setpoint on your thermostat, if it supports that.

Re: OTG compatible with R8810A1018
Is there a list of all available commands?
I already got/found;
CS = control setpoint
MM = max mod.
TT = Remote override temp setpoint??
TC = Temp constant??

You are aware of the existence of the Opentherm Gateway web site? In the menu on the left there's an entry Serial commands.

Never seen this site! Great and thanx again

I'm also using the OTG with the Honeywell EVOhome system. On the heating side of the system I have the Daalderorp Combifort 32/80+.
The system has been running for about a month now and so far mostly in [monitoring] mode. The Evohome system is a bit different than other systems, since it controls the temperature in several rooms.
Room temperature and Room setpoint are always monitored as 20.00 by the OTG. I presume this is because the system has many room temps and room setpoints.
I just want to use the OTG to put the system in ECO-mode when in out (alarm armed away) or when doors and windows are open.
I'll post a follow up when I have some more info.

Willem-Bram
