Hi,
I want to use the data from the otdata file, but can't seem to find the name of all the fields. I can guess a few, but the bits (0/1) and temperatures are not clear.
Which field is what?
Thanks in advance,
Bas.

- Central heating mode
- Domestic hot water enable

- Fault indication
- Outside temperature
- Room temperature
- Room setpoint
- Relative modulation level
- Boiler water temperature
- Return water temperature
- Control setpoint
- Domestic hot water setpoint
- Max. central heating water setpoint

Re: Otmonitor otdata field names
Hi,
Thanks for the swift reply.
I assume this is for the previous version, not for the one in Beta. Here I have 33 fields of which the last two are date and time.
So, I'm missing the fields from 16 to 33. Do you have these also?
Thanks in advance,
Bas.

I must admit this feature doesn't behave exactly as it is supposed to. It may dump more values than the 15 I listed. But those additional fields currently have no predefined order and are therefor basically useless.

I guess my question fits in this post.
What does "relative modulation level" mean?

Your questions suggest you have not yet found the opentherm protocol specifications. Google for it. Then you'll have the same information most of us have to go by.

Completely agree, sorry for this inconvenience. I was reading in more detail the document posted in this forum but I have to say it is a little bit "obscure" about definitions. For instance, they use the unit kW for measuring "capacities" or % for measuring "modulation" (without a proper definition of modulation or capacity in the context).hvxl wrote:Your questions suggest you have not yet found the opentherm protocol specifications. I have moved my question to the "Hvac, Heating Openthem" forum since it is not directly related to OTGW.
My apologies again and thaks for your time and specially for sharing your work
