Hello Reader,
I bought 2 pcs. 4-NOKS zigbee ZR-plug energy meter for connection on the wall outlet. I want to connect this meter to a data reception device (smartcom 2N).
In the configuration of the smartcom it asks for the IEEE address of the ZR-plug. On/with this plug no address is given. Is there a way to resolve the IEEE address of a zigbee device?
Thanks for your tips in advance.
Regards,

Resolve IEEE address of Zigbee device?

Re: Resolve IEEE address of Zigbee device?
With "IEEE address" they likely mean the MAC address (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAC_address) and then specifically the EUI-64 variant, thus 64-bits (and indeed that is why IPv6 requires 64 bits per subnet for autoconfiguration
The devices _should_ have a MAC address written on them, thus something like 11:22:33:44:55:66:77:88. If not, the only way to figure them out would be to take a ZigBee sniffer, plug in the device, and see what starts talking.
Your smartcom thing should just have a listing function though for recognized devices.
