Dear All.

I need to buy a supported Opentherm thermostat..
What thermostat is the best option to buy?
Does have the best options??
Or can override the most settings?
I do have a Vaillant HR boiler....


The price is not my first problem...

Which thermostat is "the best" depends a lot on your needs and desires. The Thermostat compatibility information topic contains some details on a number of popular thermostats. If you have a list of what is important to you, you can check which thermostat provides those features.

As far as I know, the Honeywell Chronotherm Modulation T8851M1000 has the most extensive support for control over opentherm. It doesn't restrict override setpoints to full or half degrees and it's the only one I know that accepts clock updates. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's the best thermostat. If you want to use OTC or have a need for battery-less back-light for more than a few seconds, you're probably better off with an iSense.
