but be carefull, lots of kickstarters are making a mess out of it and cannot handle the big money
some risk for this, the have 1,217,703 allready.

i think I had four kickstarter disasters, and more to come by the looks of it

Plugaway was my biggest disaster..

But it surely looks nice.

kickstarter Zano also a big disaster, they stole 3.2 British pound...all gone! including my Zano
also with lots of other kickstarter

also some other of my 25 kickstarters are taking a long time
I choose with care now

So, it had arrived, but just got stuck at customs for a month. I received a letter, but I was on holiday. Luckily, I had 1 (one!) before they were going to ship it back to SIN when I got home.
Now I have the same problem as you did, 122 euro import duty!
I saw your comment and Creator's reply on Kickstarter. Did you find a solution or did you end up paying that extraordinary amount?

if you are talking about the icam pro HD
yes i got a new bill from icam pro with the kiskstart amount and that i had to send to the customs
waiting for a refund now, is taking a long time though

costums in NL is checking every package and billing is hughs
i get some packets via Germany and there NO customs yet!

yes, lately almost every package i receive and thats daily from china etc are getting picked up by customs.
And even with the right invoice with the package they think they know better and give there own price on some items.
Resulting in fighting like you do with customs, funny thing is that they have something like 6 months to respond after you sent proof...........

I used the original kickstarter "invoice" of $320, €122 taxes seems a bit high.
Did they provide you with a lower invoice?

Hmm, I guess since I provided them already with an invoice I don't think I can change that anyway anymore..[FACE WITH COLD SWEAT]
Should have shipped it to Germany, where I live now.
Should set up a mail-receive-service here[FACE WITH STUCK-OUT TONGUE AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]

I got a bill form Amaryllo of 149$
so i have to pay 21% BTW and handling cost =/- 15 euro
so is something like 42 euro instead of 93 euro

better is to get everything via Germany
like I told dutch customs is checking almost everything now

This project is just another fiasco on Kikstarter. Does anybody know if there is a chance to cancel my pledge?

Yes most of the kickstarters are a big disaster, i had my share too
i only managed 1 time to get my money back, you could try, but mostly no luck.
Problem with kickstarter is that you dont know the people behind
once they get the big money the responsibility comes which most cant handle!

About customs, every postal company here in the NL is having their own customs department thats authorized by the dutch authorities.
postnl and china works best for me, all others like dhl, fedex, ups, charge you based on the details the sender gives them.
